Colour Club - Edie

Oh this polish!

It's a beautiful, vibrant jade from Colour Club's Poptastic Collection. It has a great name with a possible nod to Warhol's muse Edie Sedgwick?

The finish of this polish is rather interesting. It's not quite matte but not glossy (I have on a top coat in the images).

However, the formula?? Not a fan!

I have on three coats and the white of my nail is still slightly visible.

It has quite a long drying time. I seemed like hours later the polish still smudged easily - very frustrating.

Also, it was difficult to achieve a smooth finish - streak town for sure. Applying a top coat did smooth out the streaks somewhat but not perfectly.

So, I really enjoy the colour of this polish but the formula is a bit of a nuisance. If you have a lot of time to allow it dry in between coats then this polish might be something to check out.

You really can't deny it's beauty, can you? But what price are you willing to pay? haha
