Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Siren Sells Seashells Down by the Shore

Well friends, this might have been the worst summer of my life. I cannot believe it's September and yet I'm ready for the changing of the season and hopefully, with it, some new and positive experiences. We lost our grandmother who was like a mother and best friend to us a mere two weeks ago and the pain is still fresh. Prior to her passing, she had been in the hospital but was recovering. It feels weird writing these words. Death is so incomprehensible and surreal. If you've lost a loved one recently or ever, our hearts are with you. The pain is real and that whole "time heals" thing... I'm not feeling it yet. I hope that, in time, time will heal our hearts.

My Nannie loved having her nails painted. I often painted her nails and she was even on our blog. She always had the hardest time keeping nail polish on. I used to laugh with her about that because I'd paint one of her hands and then the next minute she would have rubbed her nose and smudged some of the polish. I miss those moments so much and wish I'd taken more time to treat her to a manicure. At any rate, she loved Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer because it seemed like the only brand of polish that would last on her nails without peeling or chipping off.

Seeing as it's the end of summer, I wanted to share Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Siren Sells Seashells Down by the Shore which was a Limited Edition polish from Summer 2015. Sadly, it has long since sold out but you can find a bottle here and there on blog sales, etc. I bought mine second-hand actually! I am wearing 2 coats with top coat. I like how neutral this is even with the glitters. Gorgeous and beachy. Great wear as always with BEGL polishes and no application issues whatsoever.
